Preplet različnih hudomušnih koreografij, ki so jih soustvarjale plesalke same.

Plesalke iz svojih idej nizajo različne vsebinske in igrive gibalne kombinacije, ki jih sestavljajo v plesno zloženko »Plesarije«. Skozi igro, zvoke, glasbo in ples se prepustijo domišljiji in se spreminjajo v vse, kar si želijo.

V koreografiji Aeiou... mačke ni domu, raziskujejo ritem besed in se poigravajo z rimami ter svoje gibe ustvarjajo brez glasbene osnove, psst... to je moj prst izhajajo iz raziskovanja različnih zvokov, ki jih ustvarjajo plesalke same. Vsak zvok sproži med njimi različne asociacije, ki jih mlade plesalke gibalno in vsebinsko razvijajo ter se pri tem zelo zabavajo.

Od diha do sopiha je ples, katerega izhodišče je čudež življenja. Razvoj od majhne, nevidne celice, prvih utripov organizmov, do neverjetnega čudeža narave, človeka, sveta. Hitimo in si želimo vedno več...naravo pretirano izkoriščamo, uničujemo... čutimo njeno utrujenost..."sopihanje"... Bomo skozi ples spoznali pomembno sporočilo?

Dance-About

A mixture of playful choreographies created by the dancers themselves.

Dancers use their ideas to craft playful sequences of movements, each carrying their own message and content, and combine them to create a dance puzzle entitled the Dance-About. They let their imagination roam free through games, sounds and music, so they can turn into whatever they please.

In the piece OhAiHey … When the Cat’s Away they explore the rhythm of words, play with rhyme and use their movements to create without a music score. Hush … Don’t Make Me Blush is an exploration of different sounds produced by the artists themselves. Each sound gives rise to a different association that the young dancers develop by filling them with movement and content and have a blast doing it.

From the First Breath to Out of Breath is a dance piece based on the miracle that is life. What starts off as a tiny, invisible cell, develops into a miracle of nature, human being, the world. All we do is rush and wish for more and more … we mercilessly exploit nature, destroy it even … we can feel it is tired, out of breath. Will we be able to understand the vital message when told through dance?

Center plesa Maribor se v svoji dvanajsti sezoni posveti posebno dragemu našemu mestu in ga pogleda skozi svoje oči iz različnih perspektiv. Kakšne zanimivosti skriva zgodovina Maribora, kdo so ljudje, ki so ga zaznamovali, kje so kotički, ki dajejo mestu svojstveno energijo.

Maribor portrayed through dance and with dance.

In its twelfth season, the dance studio Center plesa Maribor took on the city that holds and will forever hold a special place in our hearts and looked at it through their own eyes and from different perspectives. What intrigue does the history of Maribor hide, who are the people that left their mark on it, where are the hidden places that give the city its unique energy?

The Center plesa team wholeheartedly believe in Maribor and the people who represent its beating and pulsing heart. Dream circle dance through moves and rhythms that make the magic spin.

The heart and soul of the cultural association Plesna izba Maribor are their contemporary dance artists and drummers fluent in African rhythms. Dance mentors Ines Uroševič, Mojca Kasjak, Tanja Verglez, Anita Čanadi, April Veselko, Monja Lorenčič, Dalanda Diallo and Rebeka Rajšek, and drumming mentors Tina Sovič and Blaž Korez and their groups of artists spin the dream circle to create unforgettable magic.
