Traditional Sunday Concerts at the Pavilion in Maribor City Park The tradition of organizing concerts in Maribor City Park has a rich history. It began in 1890, when a music pavilion was built alongside the popular and well-attended promenade, following the example of many European cities. This marked the start of open-air concerts, which became extremely popular at the turn of the 19th century and represented an important part of social life. This tradition lives on today through Sunday morning concerts. The concerts in the park are supported by the Municipality of Maribor.In case of bad weather, the event will be canceled.The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program.
