KLEEMAR& BEATMYTH+NTOKO @ROLL’N’ROCK FEST

Roll&Rock festival je del serije koncertnih dogodkov Scena podpiše in je poklon glasbenih zasedb in producentov Radiu Študent, ki že 50 let goji in podpira domačo neodvisno in alternativno glasbeno sceno. Nazdravite z vašim najljubšim breznagobčnim radiem na koncertih po Sloveniji ter 9. maja na Velikem koncertu v Križankah.

Prvi dan festivala se odvije na lokaciji Portal:Bojler, kjer bomo “odrolali” odlična glasbena dogodka dveh priznanih ustvarjalcev žanrsko zmuzljive, a izjemno nalezljive elektronske glasbe.

KLEEMAR:
Matej Končan (kleemar), t.i. “prekmurski čudežni deček”, se najlepše bere v angleščini, zato vam podajamo tekst v univerzalnem esperantu 21 stoletja:
Kleemar is not your ordinary musician. He’s a persona that has created his own unique view on the world of music making, partly thanks to him perceiving subtle messages in Aerosmith songs and using Atari products. It would be wrong to label kleemar as (just) an IDM or electronica artist. These words bear no real substance, other than kleemar being close to the sounds of Warp and Morr Music records!
Therefore, the label ‘allrounder’ is far more suitable and better describes kleemar’s perception and intake of music from allover. His instruments are keys and buttons, whether synth keys, computer keyboard keys or drum machine buttons – these are the devices that encourage kleemar to start making his own music (in the year 2000). Kleemar has played numerous club and festival gigs, he has collaborated with a world renown choreographer Matjaž Farič and a young theatre director Luka Škof (individually with each, of course).
Kleemar’s music is embellished with his excellent sense for rhythm, ear-caressing melodies, his innovative and unique feeling for recycling something that’s been heard before into his very own >kleemarian< audio image. N'toko): Breakbeat, Elektro, Dubstep, Elektronica Zasedba BeatMyth, ki sta jo leta 2007 osnovala Igor Vuk in Mitja Pritržnik, ustvarja raznoliko avtorsko glasbo, s poudarkom na breakbeatu. Na vokalu tudi tokrat gostuje N'Toko, s katerim sta naredila dve studijski plošči. Februarja 2010 sta v samozaložbi izdala zastonjsko ploščo Your Own two Heads f. N'toko, leta 2012 pa sta pri Kapa records izdala ploščo Questionable Image. Za singel plošče S!ck, sta Igor Vuk in Izak Cunta naredila tudi video. V novih produkcijah je Igor Vuk združil moči z Boštjanom Pirnarjem ter raznimi glasbeniki, kot na primer Davidom Cvelbarjem, bobnarjem skupine Moveknowledgement in Janijem Ježom, kitaristom skupine Real Life Version. Nekatere pesmi so bile izdane pri ameriški založbi Starblocks Music, v 2018 pa je izšel tudi dolgometražni album One Hand Clap, pri založbi Kamizdat. http://beatmyth.blogspot.si/ Obe zasedbi smo v Mariboru v nadzemski in tudi podzemeljski varianti že imeli priložnost videti in slišati (those were the days!), zato je odveč poudarjati, da gre za stvar, ki je ne smete zamuditi!
